BAFTA 2024, 13 nomination per ‘Oppenheimer’

Sono state annunciate le candidature dei BAFTA Awards 2024, la cui cerimonia di premiazione si terrà a Londra il prossimo 18 febbraio. I premi assegnati dalla British Academy of Film and Television Arts sono da sempre considerati una delle più importanti tappe di avvicinamento agli Oscar. Dominano anche qui i due film forse più apprezzati della stagione: Oppenheimer con 13 candidature e Povere Creature! (Poor Things) con 11. Si ferma a nove un altro dei favoriti Killers of the Flower Moon, così come La zona d’interesse (The Zone of Interest). Ancora più indietro, a 7 candidature, troviamo il terzetto formato da Anatomia di una caduta (Anatomy of a Fall), The Holdovers e Maestro. Quasi del tutto snobbato Barbie, a cui sono stati preferiti film come Estranei (All of us Strangers), Past Lives e Saltburn. Escluso dalla lista l’unico titolo italiano precedentemente incluso nelle shortlist: Le otto montagne.
