London Critics’ Circle: ‘Nomadland’, terna di premi

Il viaggio di Nomadland presegue: il film di Chloe Zhao, eletto Miglior Film del 2020 dal London Critics’ Circle. Oltre il riconoscimento più ambito, anche quello per la Miglior Interpretazione Femminile di Frances McDormand, e per la Miglior Sceneggiatura.

L’horror psicologico Saint Maud s’è aggiudicato anch’esso tre premi: Miglior Film Inglese dell’Anno, Miglior Attrice Inglese dell’Anno a Morfydd Clark, Regista Rivelazione Inglese per Rose Glass.

Steve McQueen è stato nominato Miglior Regista dell’Anno per la serie Small Axe; Chadwick Boseman ha vinto un riconoscimento postumo per Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, e Riz Ahmed è stato premiato per Sound of Metal e Mogul Mowgli.

The Philip French Award: Breakthrough British/Irish filmmaker: Rose Glass (Saint Maud)
