On the evening of June 9, in the stunning setting of the Mole Antonelliana, he will receive the Stella della Mole award in recognition of his unique and innovative role in the world of cinema. On June 10, in conversation with Carlo Chatrian, Director of the National Museum of Cinema, James Cameron will hold a Masterclass at the Cinema Massimo. Details on time and access will be announced shortly.
Inaugurated on February 26, 2025, The Art of James Cameron exhibition offers visitors a fascinating journey through the creative process of one of the most imaginative innovators in film history. Spanning six decades of artistic expression, James Cameron’s story is told through an extraordinary selection of rare works from the acclaimed director’s private archive—a kind of “autobiography through art,” as Cameron himself describes it. Adapted to the unique vertical layout of the Mole Antonelliana, home to the National Museum of Cinema, the exhibition features several striking elements that transform the building into a deep dive into James Cameron’s visionary world.
The exhibition was conceived by the Cinémathèque française in Paris, in collaboration with the Avatar Alliance Foundation.
On June 12, the director will revisit his career with the audience and present an exclusive preview of the first footage of his new film '28 Years Later'
