European Film Promotion (EFP) has unveiled the twenty emerging European producers selected for the 26th edition of Producers on the Move. Representing Italy this year is Francesca Andreoli of Cinedora.
The initiative aims to connect young producers with potential co-production partners, strengthening their professional networks while offering this new generation of industry players a solid and visible platform. The first part of the program took place online (April 28–30) and will continue in person during the Cannes Film Festival (May 16–20).
With Cinedora, Francesca Andreoli produced Vermiglio (2024), the multi-award-winning second feature by Maura Delpero, which won the Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival and has since then screened at numerous international festivals and has been sold for distribution in around seventy countries. It also was Italy’s submission for the 2025 Oscars.
Here are the other participants in the 2025 edition:
Blerina Hankollari (Albania), Andi G Hess (Austria), Géraldine Sprimont (Belgium), Magdelena Ilieva (Bulgaria), Tamara Babun Zovko (Croatia), Daniel Mühlendorph (Denmark), Lionel Massol (France), Fred Burle (Germany), Claudia Sümeghy (Hungary), Deirdre Levins (Ireland), Kristele Pudane (Latvia), Klementina Remeikaitė (Lithuania), Vincent Quénault (Luxembourg), Bojana Radulović (Montenegro), Janne Hjeltnes (Norway), Agnieszka Wasiak (Poland), Carla Fotea (Romania), Eliza Jones (Sweden), and Thomas Reichlin (Switzerland).
